Theory and Riddle was one of the oddest teams on Raw before Theory betrayed Riddle during a Tag Team Match because of an advice Theory had from Mr. McMahon. Theory revealed that Mr. McMahon told him "a person can either bring you down or get you up to their level" and Theory concluded that Riddle was not advancing his career in WWE so he decided to get rid of him.
The resilient Riddle would fight back and challenge Theory for a match at WrestleMania Backlash!
Theory defeats Riddle.
⚪ MAIN EVENT: Cody Rhodes vs. Bobby Lashley(c) vs. AJ Styles - WWE Title Triple Threat Match: 18min*
When Cody Rhodes returned to FBW at WrestleMania, he declared the WWE Championship is his ultimate goal, he defeated Sam Rigleer at WrestleMania, and turned his focus to the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.
However, Bobby Lashley had on-going issues with AJ Styles and Cody Rhodes was set to go through AJ Styles in order to challenge for the WWE Title. During their match, The Paramount Star Sam Rigleer simply could not let Cody Rhodes move on and accept defeat. Sam Rigleer would then interfere in AJ and Cody's match leading to a DQ finish where Cody Rhodes won.
The American Nightmare would refuse entering the WWE Title match because of a cowardly win and wanted to earn his match instead. As a result, a match was sanctioned between Cody Rhodes and Sam Rigleer where Cody Rhodes successfully won and was added to the WWE Title Match at WrestleMania Backlash!
Tonight, Cody Rhodes faces the ultimate challenge against The Almighty Bobby Lashley and AJ Styles!
During this grueling match, Sam Rigleer ambushed Cody Rhodes and put him in a disadvantage against Styles and Lashley. Lashley would capitalise and retain the WWE Title!
