MONEY IN THE BANK IS TWO WEEKS FROM SUNDAY!
Did Seth Rollins really return to SmackDown? A surprise appearance on SmackDown and total annihilation of a tag team!
🔵Charlotte Flair and Kevin Owens confront Carmella, Keith Lee, and Damian Priest:
SmackDown opens to an entrance from The Queen Charlotte Flair followed by Kevin Owens who also made an entrance to call out every Money in the Bank Ladder Match participant from the blue team! But before any of them walked out, it was Carmella who challenged Charlotte Flair to a final chapter match disputing her place at the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Carmella blamed her loss in the qualifying match on Reginald and wants a 'fair' one-on-one match with Charlotte, which The Queen later accepted.
Keith Lee walked out next to debate Kevin Owens about his MITB aspirations which brought down Damian Priest too. They later agreed to a Fatal 4-Way Match in which Jey Uso is also scheduled to be part of.
🔵 Carmella vs. Charlotte Flair - FINAL CHAPTER - If Carmella Wins, She Replaces Charlotte At Money in the Bank:
In a match that ends a weeks-long rivalry, Carmella looks to take Flair's spot at The Women's MITB Ladder Match.
This match was bitter, the two stars put on a hell of a fight.
Charlotte Flair defeats Carmella via submission.
🔹 BACKSTAGE: Sami Zayn lashes out on Megan Morant.
SmackDown interviewer asks Sami Zayn why he was not part of the qualifying matches despite being Intercontinental Champion and his answer was nothing short of anger as he took offense to that question calling it propaganda to belittle him as champion.
🔵 Liv Morgan defends Ruby Riott's name during a confrontation between Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax:
As Rhea Ripley, the SmackDown Women's Champion, mocks Nia Jax's win over One-half of the Women's Tag Team champions, The Riot Squad interrupts to challenge Nia Jax and Rhea Ripley.
🔵 Ruby Riott vs. Nia Jax:
Nia Jax and Ruby Riott go one-on-one again on SmackDown, with Ripley and Morgan watching from ringside.
Nia Jax defeats Ruby Riott via DQ when Ripley caused Jax to fall on her face.
🔵 Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan:
In defense of her tag team partner, Liv Morgan challenges Rhea Ripley but finds herself in a 'brutal' match.
Rhea Ripley defeats Liv Morgan via pinfall.
🔹 BACKSTAGE: Edge warns Roman Reigns he is coming for him.
Edge, a contestant for the Money in the Bank briefcase, tells Roman Reigns he might choose him this time after he wins the briefcase.
Edge won the Rumble last year and challenged Drew McIntyre instead of Roman Reigns as his opponent at WrestleMania 16.
🔹 BACKSTAGE: Shayna Baszler vows to win the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Baszler calls MITB an opportunity for her to get back on the title picture and reclaim her title.
🔵 Is Seth Rollins really here tonight?:
Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman came in all smiling tonight as they await the arrival of the Savior Seth Rollins who was nowhere to be seen. The Street Profits came out instead to inform Roman Reigns that Seth never had any intentions of showing up to work because he doesn't care about Jimmy Uso, Roman Reigns got really angry about that and as he lifts the mic to his mouth, Rollins appeared via Sattelite promising to definitely most likely he will be on SmackDown next week, Roman Reigns doesn't look at Rollins in the screen but still listened to what he had to say. Just before Rollins would finish his talk, Roman Reigns unleashed an attack on The Street Profits, destroying them in the process, and walks out sending a clear message to Rollins.
🔹 BACKSTAGE: Charlotte flair recalls beating Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 15.
Charlotte Flair reminds everybody who she beat at WrestleMania 15 and says she will do the same when she wins the briefcase.
🔵 Miz and Morrison vs. The New Day:
Aj Styles and Omos look on as their opponents at MITB face the New Day.
The Miz and John Morrison win.
🔵 MAIN EVENT - Kevin Owens vs. Keith Lee vs. Damian Priest vs. Jey Uso - Fatal 4-Way Match:
Who will build momentum ahead of Money in the Bank?
