🔵 Sam Rigleer is hurried by Seth Rollins to spill the reason why he's targeting him:

SmackDown opens with a video package highlighting the events Seth Rollins has been through over the past weeks and the return of Sam Rigleer. A brief silence was interrupted by Sam Rigleer's entrance to boos and cheers and no music. The former first-ever Universal Champion Sam Rigleer takes his full time on the mic and doesn't talk at all which brought down The Savior Seth Rollins who demanded an answer from Sam Rigleer. Sam responded coldly with "Oh! Here he is.. The Savior that couldn't save himself.." which pissed off Seth Rollins but before he made it down the ramp Sam Rigleer screams "Do you wanna know why I almost ended your career with a car? It's because you've done the same TO MEE!!! You were the person behind my absence and you took many long months of my career away! You injured me and you moved on as if nothing happened! it killed me and it took away a piece of me and you took away MY PEACE!... I spent every week in the hospital watching you wrestle and I sunk even more inside my mind to the point where I felt reborn! I can hurt you and I will." Rollins runs into the ring to attack Rigleer and a brawl was underway until WWE Officials came down to separate the two.

🔹 BACKSTAGE: A furious Rollins is expelled from the arena.

Rollins couldn't cool down after the all-out brawl that kicked off SmackDown and was forced to leave the arena and take the rest of the night off.

🔵 Damian Priest vs. Jey Uso:

Damian Priest was promised a one-on-one match against Jey Uso and he was granted that tonight.

Jey Uso defeats Damian Priest via pinfall.

🔹 BACKSTAGE: Sam Rigleer promises to show Rollins 'The Horrors of a Hospital Bed' next week.

Sitting in a dark room, Rigleer makes a promise to show Rollins 'The Horror of a Hospital Bed' next week on SmackDown.

🔵 Nia Jax vs. Rhea Ripley - Winner Faces Charlotte Flair At SummerSlam:

Never happened.

Charlotte Flair launches a brutal attack on Jax and Ripley forcing WWE Official Adam Pierce to postpone the match for later in the night.

🔹 BACKSTAGE: Kevin Owens rescues Sami Zayn from a wild Damian Priest.

Damian Priest takes out his frustrations on Sami Zayn but luckily for Zayn, Kevin Owens, who was around, came for his aid.

🔵 Shotzi Blackheart w/ Tegan Nox vs. Liv Morgan:

One-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions battles former champion, Liv Morgan.

Liv Morgan picks up the win.

🔹 BACKSTAGE: Charlotte Flair is the only Queen on SmackDown.

Now that she's SmackDown's new Women's Champion, Charlotte Flair feels on top of the world and Nia Jax and Rhea Ripley just learned that lesson the hard way.

🔵 The Miz attempts to cool things up with Omos on MizTV:

After pissing off Omos this past week, John Morrison was set to go head to head with Omos on this week's SmackDown. So The Miz tried to change Omos' mind on facing Morrison. Things got from worse to bad when Intercontinental Champion Riddle came down to side with Omos and Aj Styles, and Omos never changed his mind.

🔵 John Morrison w/ The Miz vs. Omos w/ AJ Styles:

The last time these two competed with each other, Omos beat Morrison in a record one-minute match. Can Morrison turn things around this week?

Omos defeats John Morrison in a seven-minute beatdown.

In the end, The Miz was trying to pull Morrison from harm's way but Riddle fed The Miz himself to Omos.

🔹 BACKSTAGE: Elias cuts the strings of his guitar.

Elias vows to ruin Finn Balor's debut tonight and cuts the strings of his guitar to symbolize his anger.

🔵 Roman Reigns and The Usos crash John Cena through a table during SummerSlam contract signing:

John Cena fell in Roman Reigns' trap before SummerSlam as Reigns DESTROYED John Cena after signing the contract and took down the former multi-time champion Cena onto a table.

🔵 Finn Balor vs. Elias:

Elias' anger was his downfall as a lack of focus gave Balor a chance to capitalize and hit a Sling Blade followed by a Coup de Grace for an easy win.

🔵 MAIN EVENT - Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax - Winner Faces Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam:

After the intended attack by Charlotte earlier in the night, Nia vs. Rhea was rescheduled to take place in the main event.

Rhea Ripley defeats Nia Jax to earn a rematch for the SmackDown Women's Title at SummerSlam.
