Last weekend at Extreme Rules, Ronda Rousey shocked the world in the main event where she won the SmackDown Women's Title from Bianca Belair.
The former UFC champion showed the world her true capabilities and Bianca Belair was clearly unprepared for that match which was even made worse by an injury she suffered.
Tonight, the new SmackDown Women's Champion celebrated her win with a round of boos from the WWE Universe. Raquel Rodriguez came out to interrupt Rousey and declared herself as next for a title shot.
Raquel explained that what Scarlett whispered to her ear this past week was true and that she will no longer let opportunities go by. The pair agreed to fight next!

Knowing that a title opportunity is at stake, Raquel Rodriguez digs deep in her bout with the new SmackDown Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.
During the match, Shayna Baszler, who is mostly seen at Rousey's corner, raided the contest and obliterated Raquel Rodriguez for a disqualification. It is clear that Rousey struggled against the bigger Raquel Rodriguez but why did Shayna Baszler cost Rousey her match?

Xia Li and Shotzi could hardly get along as a tag team and it's even worse now that they have nothing to like about each other. During a backstage skirmish, Xia Li enclosed Shotzi in a small equipment box and left her with no air.

After his chapter-ending win over Solo Sikoa at last weekend's Extreme Rules event, Drew McIntyre got emotional with the WWE Universe on what's next for him. The Scottish Warrior may have forgotten that The Harbinger of Sorrow Karrion Kross already set a ticking clock for McIntyre and the end inches closer.
Karrion Kross ambushed Drew McIntyre and put him out for good. This will only make Drew McIntyre angrier having yet to get his hands on Kross who made his SmackDown debut by attacking him from behind.

On his first interview as LA Knight, the former Max Dupri was overly enthusiastic about the life he'll breathe into SmackDown.
The Street Profits joined in on the fun but LA Knight reiterated that he's not friends with anyone not The Street Profits and certainly not the thousands of nobodies cheering his name.

With Tommaso Ciampa still out of action, Johnny Gargano finds himself in a weekly disadvantage against The Alpha Academy who ambushed him last week. Tonight, Johnny Gargano goes for the big one, challenging Otis to a match!

The Brawling Brutes have made an impact on SmackDown helping Drew McIntyre even the odds against The Bloodline and picking up a win over Imperium several weeks ago.
While in the ring, The Brawling Brutes' fight night amusement comes to a stop when the debuting Legado del Fantasma surrounded the ring and targeted The Brawling Brutes. Unprepared for battle, The Brawling Brutes were quickly overpowered by the new force that is La Familia.
Sheamus and the rest of the Brutes will not let this slide.
🔹 BACKSTAGE: Gunther is keen on the sacredness of the U.S. Title.
The United States Champion Gunther retained his title in a "match of the year" caliber bout with the legendary Luchador, Rey Mysterio!
Tonight, in a special address, The Ring General reaffirmed to the WWE Universe that he'll keep the coveted U.S. Title sacred and away from the hands of the filthy disgrace of a pro wrestler that are the rest of the SmackDown locker room.

With the eyes of the world on the gigantic clash between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman in just 4 weeks at Crown Jewel, it is time the two great rivals come face-to-face!
Braun Strowman went through a 16-Man Grand Tournament to earn a Title match against Roman Reigns and critics believe that it is a double edge-sword for the Monster of Monsters. Just moments after winning the tournament final, Braun Strowman was ambushed by the Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn who were sent out to deliver a message by Roman Reigns.
This past Monday on Raw, Braun Strowman proved his readiness to Roman Reigns when he made a shocking appearance to help Matt Riddle fend off an attack from The Bloodline.
When the two heavyweights stood face-to-face, calamity quickly ensued. And for Roman Reigns, this night will plant doubt in his mind ahead of the official title match in Saudi Arabia. Because Braun Strowman flatlined The Head of the Table in an all-out brawl and stood tall to close the show, perhaps the first time that Roman Reigns ever fell short in a battle so quickly. Is Roman Reigns' historic reign in jeopardy?
