The SmackDown broadcast kicks off with the former women's tag team champions Toxic Attraction attempting to prove they still stand at the top of the women's tag team division despite losing their tag titles in this past Raw's main event.
Toxic Attraction won the women's tag team championship tournament two weeks ago knocking off Damage CTRL in the finals, being the X-Factor from NXT, overcoming the main roster tag teams.
Toxic Attraction squares off tonight against the team they met in the first round of that tournament. Toxic Attraction win in dominant fashion.

🔵 Rey Mysterio vs. Tommaso Ciampa - Quarter Finals Match: 9min*
Rey Mysterio and Tommaso Ciampa are two individuals who have had their own separate problems lately, Rey Mysterio has been caught up with Imperium and recently "lost" his son. Ciampa has been busy with the Alpha Academy, and so has his ex-best friend Johnny Gargano.
Tonight Rey Mysterio & Ciampa square off for a chance to face Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. The match begins, and during the contest, The Alpha Academy make their way down to the ring costing Tommaso Ciampa the match allowing Rey Mysterio to get the advantage he did not ask for. During this match, we also learn that Rey Mysterio will face Gunther for the United States Championship on the eve of Extreme Rules which is the SmackDown season premiere.

Rey Mysterio leaves the ring after getting his win, Ciampa still on the floor is attacked by Alpha Academy, and Johnny Gargano makes his way down to the ring to attack Alpha Academy, Gargano has also had his own problems with Alpha Academy, Ciampa & Gargano fend off Alpha Academy leaving just themselves in the ring, they stare at each other, Gargano offers his hand to Ciampa who refuses to shake it and walks away.
🔹 BACKSTAGE: Damage CTRL take out Asuka in a three-on-one mugging.
Damage CTRL surrounded Asuka in the locker room like stray dogs, tearing the former champion apart!
Bayley echoed "This is what happens when you pick Liv Morgan's side!".
🔵 Drew McIntyre collides with The Bloodline in a tumultuous brawl: 14min*
McIntyre makes his way to the ring. McIntyre has been involved in a feud with The Bloodline and Karrion Kross in recent weeks. He was attacked by Karrion Kross days before challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
At Clash At The Castle, he squared off with the longest-reigning Universal Champion and was unsuccessful in his quest to reclaim the titles but only because of one Solo Sikoa who took the victory away from him.
McIntyre holds it against the Bloodline members, specifically Solo Sikoa. Solo Sikoa has been tearing it up on both Raw and SmackDown recently, helping his bloodline brethren get a victory over R-Truth and the New Day.
Drew McIntyre calls out the Bloodline telling them to get out and to face him like men, the Usos music hits and while they making their way to the ring McIntyre rushes and attacks them, trying to take them all out, he fends them off in rage but they are separated by referees, WWE Officials and the security team.
Through all the mayhem, Solo Sikoa managed to avoid calamity and keep distance from a livid Drew McIntyre.
🔹 BACKSTAGE: Imperium leave Rey Mysterio broken on the concrete.
Rey Mysterio shares his emotions, claiming to be in an amazing mood despite the Dominik drama. He's in this mood because his got an upcoming United States title match and he could earn a shot to fave Roman Reigns and become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Rey adds his never been this excited in his entire career. His joy quickly fades when Imperium begins to mock him, Rey kindly asks them to excuse him cause he had a wild night, but Imperium refuse and they deliver a message instead, even if Rey can win the tournament, he won't make it to Crown Jewel cause he'll to beaten from Gunther's attack to make it to Saudi, Kaiser and Vinci attack Rey, exposing his chest for Gunther to deliver a vicious chop.

Issues within Maximum Male Models continue to grow deeper as Max Dupri gets more disappointed with his clientées.
In a match against Hit Row, Max Dupri officially turns on Maximum Male Models, handing Hit Row an easy win against their opponents!

Damage CTRL has been making waves upon their arrival, targeting championship gold, capturing the tag team championships last week in a tournament finals rematch against Toxic Attraction. Tag Team Championship gold wasn't the only title they had their eyes on. Damage CTRL leader Bayley has had her eyes on Liv Morgan's Raw women's championship, Bayley vowed to destroy everything around Liv Morgan, she stayed true to her word last week, going after Liv Morgan's best friend last week, SmackDown women's champion Bianca Belair. And earlier tonight, ambushing Asuka.
Tonight we get a championship showcase with Raw & SmackDown women's champions, Liv Morgan & Bianca Belair teaming up against Damage CTRL. During the match Ronda Rousay down to the ring to join the SmackDown commentary team, Ronda is set to face Bianca at Extreme Rules for the SmackDown Women's Title, the match continues and another distraction appears this time it's for Damage CTRL, its Toxic Attraction, who manages to cost Damage CTRL their match by taking out their leader whose ringside for the match, Bayley.

Ronda gets up from the commentary position, grabs a mic, and makes her way to the ring, she says she feels as though something is missing between her & Bianca Belair leaving the WWE Universe baffled about what the Baddest Woman on the Planet was referring to.
