A new era begins for SmackDown! Brock Lesnar returns and wreaks havoc! + Trouble between The Mysterios and two champions team up on the eve of SummerSlam!

🔵 Liv Morgan vs. Asuka: 8min*
Bianca Belair and Asuka's issues go back to Hell in a Cell in February, nearly three months ago. On that day, Bianca Belair was ambushed by Asuka during a Six Pack Challenge for a shot at the Undisputed WWE Women's Title. Bianca Belair ended up winning the match anyway but threatened Asuka to stay away from her.
The stubborn and fearless Asuka would continuously meddle in the SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair's business and their rivalry reached a whole new level when their common friend, Raw Women's Champion Liv Morgan was forced to pick sides in this conflict.
After Belair's first championship defense a couple of weeks ago, she was sprayed with green mist by Asuka.
Two weeks ago, Bianca Belair and Asuka came face-to-face to agree to a SmackDown Women's Championship match at SummerSlam but things escalated quickly when the face-to-face became a confrontation and then a brawl in which The Empress of Tomorrow Asuka sprayed the champion with green mist again!
Last week, Bianca Belair promised her fans she won't let Asuka put her down again and vowed to be careful not to be sprayed again with the green mist. Later that night, the SmackDown Women's Champion was surprised by the arrival of Raw Women's Champion Liv Morgan in a beautiful moment of friendship! However, on that same night, Liv Morgan would be ambushed by Asuka who even sprayed Liv with green mist!
Tonight, Raw Women's Champion Liv Morgan makes another return to SmackDown to fight her attacker, Asuka.
The match ended in a double DQ when Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair came out to attack their respective opponents at SummerSlam! Chaos erupted between the two sides of Belair & Morgan and Flair & Asuka and a Tag Team Match was made official for later tonight when the champions face the challengers!
IN-RING: Ciampa antagonizes Pat McAfee on commentary.
Ciampa interrupted Pat McAfee on commentary and trash talked him before hitting him under the belts.
Pat McAfee will face Ciampa at SummerSlam this Saturday!
🔵 Brock Lesnar destroys Paul Heyman & The Usos en route to SummerSlam: 9min*
With Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar set to battle in The Biggest SummerSlam Match of All-Time on SummerSlam on May 16, tomorrow, The Beast and The Head of the Table were scheduled to meet in the ring to make the Winner Take All Championship Unification Match official in a contract signing on SmackDown two weeks ago. With numerous security guards present in the ring, Paul Heyman first pontificated on how Reigns matchup against Lesnar was truly The Biggest Fight of All Summer.
Before the guards could attack Lesnar, though, The Beast engaged the entire force as The Bloodline took their exit. The Conqueror laid waste to Reigns' security team and sent a message to Reigns on The Road to SummerSlam.
Last week, The Special Counsel Paul Heyman weighed in on the SummerSlam match between Lesnar and Reigns and said that Brock Lesnar can not beat this confident, dominant, and unstoppable Roman Reigns, especially after The Head of the Table beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.
Paul Heyman added that Roman Reigns will conquer the Conqueror Brock Lesnar when the two meet at SummerSlam.
The special address by Paul Heyman again this week pontificated the superiority of Reigns over Lesnar, only this week, Paul Heyman got first hand what it's like to be in the ring with the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar!
Moments after Paul Heyman's first words, Brock Lesnar would march into the ring to insert doubt in the minds of The Bloodline, The Beast Incarnate F5-ed Paul Heyman after pummeling the Undisputed Tag Team Champions The Usos, and held the WWE Title up high!
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns is a SummerSlam fight like we've never seen before!
🔹 BACKSTAGE: Alpha Academy talk The Street Profits into a match.
Alpha Academy have been at The Street Profits' throat for a number of weeks now arguing the legitimacy of their status as The Usos' SummerSlam opponents.
Tonight, Alpha Academy confronted The Street Profits backstage where they said they would destroy The Street Profits like Brock Lesnar destroyed The Usos moments ago!

Rey Mysterio is set to have a future U.S. Title match against the champion Gunther. Meanwhile, his son, Dominik Mysterio feels like he has became a third-wheel for his father ever since the pair lost to The Usos at Hell in a Cell.
When Dominik Mysterio mentioned his feelings to his father Rey last week, the legendary Luchador mistakenly said that he doesn't think Dominik Mysterio can beat Gunther which Dominik took offense to.
As a result, Dominik vowed to prove his father wrong when he faces the Ring General U.S. Champion Gunther. However, in that match, Dominik Mysterio would suffer a crushing defeat at the hands of Gunther. Rey Mysterio came to his son's rescue but was also dismantled by Imperium's dominance.
Tonight, The Mysterios are on the same page against Imperium.
During the match, Dominik Mysterio left his father in the middle of the battle!
Ludwig Kaiser & Giovani Vinci defeat Rey Mysterio.

🔹 SIT-DOWN INTERVIEW: Raquel Rodriguez and Sonya Deville are set for a Three Stages of Hell Match!
It was over a month ago when Sonya Deville lost to Raquel Rodriguez & WWE Official Adam Pearce in a Mixed Tag Team Match, however, since then, Sonya Deville has gone on to qualify for the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match whereas Raquel Rodriguez failed to guarantee a spot in the match. Sonya Deville shoved this achievement in Rodriguez's face but ended up not winning the Ladder match anyway. Four weeks ago, an embarrassed Sonya Deville vowed to turn Raquel's life to hell and she made sure it happened during Raquel's biggest match of her career against multi-time champion Becky Lynch. Sonya Deville cost her that match and Becky Lynch ended up winning.
Then three weeks ago, Sonya Deville was out to address the WWE Universe and solidify herself as the backbone of Friday Night SmackDown who was behind the rise of its popularity when she was a WWE Official. Moments into her address, Raquel Rodriguez made her way out and used her feats of strength to toy with Sonya Deville, getting her revenge in the process!
Sonya Deville shockingly rolled up Raquel Rodriguez for the win in their match two weeks ago on SmackDown which prompted Raquel to demand a rematch to retaliate her defeat.
Last week, Raquel Rodriguez defeats Sonya Deville in a physical battle!
Tonight, during a heated sit-down interview, the two superstars want to even their 1-1 score in a three stages of hell match two weeks from now live on SmackDown!
🔹 BACKSTAGE: A judgment day is coming for AJ Styles.
Five weeks ago, Friday on SmackDown, AJ Styles found company in Drew McIntyre and a recently suspended Ronda Rousey in his quest to end The Judgment Day that changed Finn Balor to what he is today.
The three superstars rallied the WWE Universe behind them and vowed to be the end for Judgment Day! McIntyre, Styles, and Rousey showed the world they're a united front and they look unstoppable! They also proved it three weeks ago Friday on SmackDown when Drew McIntyre claymore-d Damian Priest into victory! It was all flowers and rainbows for AJ Styles until last Monday night on Raw...
To the shock of the WWE Universe, Judgment Day made their ominous entrance to the ring but this time, they were dragging AJ Styles' helpless body out with them. AJ Styles looked visibly beaten and injured, clearly at the hands of The Judgment Day. When they addressed the WWE Universe, Judgment Day revealed this is a message for McIntyre, Rousey, even Styles himself, and anyone that stands in their way. Judgment Day have regained their strength and SummerSlam will be a can't miss match between the two forces!
Two weeks ago on SmackDown, however, McIntyre, Styles, & Rousey assured the WWE Universe that they don't fear the Judgment Day!
And on this past Monday's Raw, during the scheduled face-to-face between the two forces, things got ugly real quick when Balor and Styles looked eye-to-eye! Rousey and Ripley tore the house down and McIntyre laid waste to Damian Priest! WWE Officials separated the two teams. The momentum is through the roof for their match at SummerSlam!
Tonight, The Judgment Day sat in the throne and pledged a judgment day for AJ Styles specifically tomorrow at SummerSlam.

Last week, The Honorary Uce Sami Zayn led his team of The Usos to victory against the team of Dolph Ziggler and The Street Profits.
However, this past Monday on Raw, Dolph Ziggler was key to evening the odds for Riddle and The Street Profits against The Bloodline when he attacked Sami Zayn at ringside!
Tonight, Sami Zayn and Dolph Ziggler settle their differences in the name of The Bloodline!

Charlotte Flair and Asuka won when Asuka sprayed the referee by mistake with green mist which gave Charlotte Flair an opening to hit a natural selection on Liv Morgan and pin her for the win!
Charlotte Flair just pinned Liv Morgan one night from SummerSlam!
