A Royal Rumble Match on SmackDown?!!! + The Biggest Main Event of SmackDown history and more action!
ROYAL RUMBLE IS TOMORROW!
(this episode was meant to be published on Jan. 28th but was delayed)
🔵 Brock Lesnar, Edge, Randy Orton, and The Usos rumble: 20min*
The show kicks off with Orton in the ring talking about how he's the greatest and how he wants to ruin Brock Lesnar because he wants to challenge Roman Reigns after he destroys Brock. Edge comes out and tells Orton he might be a first-ballot Hall of Famer but Brock is a hand full, he tells Orton that he should let him deal with Roman while Orton deals with Brock and they'll meet at WrestleMania, The Usos come out telling both men that they are insane and that Roman will have a parade and not a title match at the Royal Rumble, Brock comes out of nowhere and lays all four men out on the ground dominantly, the stage is set for the main event!
🔵 A 7-Man Royal Rumble Match for the United States Championship: 16min*
Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn(c) vs. Damian Priest vs. Sheamus vs. Drew Gulak vs. Ridge Holland vs. Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship!
Damian Priest enters first and clashes with Sheamus before #3 gets in, and that is Ridge Holland who joins Sheamus in beating down Damian Priest!
#4 Cesaro makes his entrance to the ring and joins forces with his friends and allies Sheamus and Holland turning the match into a three-on-one mugging of Priest, but it all changed when Rey Mysterio #5 entered the ring to Priest's aid and eliminated Cesaro!
The even odds allow Damian Priest to regroup and send Holland flying to the outside!! Sheamus is now all on his own.
#6 Drew Gulak comes out and joins the fray! In the meantime, Sheamus stuns Damian Priest and eliminates him with a Brogue Kick before eliminating himself!
It's down to Gulak and Mysterio as we await #7 which is obviously the United States Champion Sami Zayn.
Gulak was eliminated by Mysterio 5 minutes later which meant it's now Zayn vs. Mysterio!
Sami Zayn retains the United States Title even with the odds stacked against him after eliminating Mysterio, countering a failed 619 attempt!
🔹 BACKSTAGE: What's next for Drew McIntyre?
Drew McIntyre talks about his exclusion from the 7-man U.S. Title Royal Rumble match and claims he doesn't mind it because he found out that he's next in line for Roman Reigns after WrestleMania.
During this interview, we see Edge leaving in the background but he is quickly jumped by the Usos perhaps at the order of The Tribal Chief!

🔵 Stephanie McMahon returns to confront Sonya Deville: 10min*
SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch and Sonya Deville are signing the contract for their title match at the Royal Rumble where Becky lets Sonya sign first, in the meantime, Stephanie McMahon makes her surprise return to SmackDown to inform Sonya not to sign anything before reading, because they tweaked the contract to revoke Sonya's power status as a WWE Official for one night only and that's tomorrow, Stephanie also lets Sonya know that Rhea Ripley has been reinstated to the Women's Royal Rumble Match whether Deville likes it or not.
🔵 Liv Morgan & Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop & A.S.H(c) - Women's Tag Team Championship Match: 10min*
The Women's Tag Team champions stay dominant in this match, but Liv & Bianca push them to their limits. Eventually, Nikki pinned Bianca and the Tag champs retain.
🔵 The Street Profits vs. Los Lotharios: 7min*
The Street Profits pick up the win!
🔵 MAIN EVENT: Randy Orton & The Usos vs. Brock Lesnar, Big E & Chad Gable: 33min*
Brock Lesnar's first match on SmackDown in years!
We witness a phenomenal match, but at some point, an angry Brock Lesnar directs his issues with Randy Orton to the referee by knocking him out with an F5 to the outside. Edge suddenly appears and puts Brock Lesnar out with a vicious Spear. The vengent Rated-R superstar makes Lesnar pay for his actions from earlier in the night. Randy Orton tries to seize the opportunity and pin Brock Lesnar but there was no referee in sight. However, this did not stop the fans in attendance from counting to three.
The livid Beast wakes up and quickly locks Orton in a Kimura Lock after the new referee's arrival.
Brock Lesnar, Big E & Chad Gable def. Randy Orton & The Usos.
After the epic match, Orton turned his back on the Usos and was joined by Edge, who also has a score to settle with The Usos.
At the Royal Rumble tomorrow night, Edge will challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Title, and Brock Lesnar will clash with Randy Orton!
After laying out The Usos, Orton and Edge stare at each other as the fired-up crowd chants "Rated-RKO".
The moment did not last long however when Sheamus and Holland ambushed Edge in front of Orton before turning their attention to The Viper.
