Raw After WrestleMania 16, Backlash is 5 Weeks Away

Raw opens with a video package highlighting the best moments from the two-night WrestleMania and focusing on the Night One Main Event of Edge vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship which Edge won.

🔺 Braun Strowman & Seth Rollins challenge Edge for his WWE Title:

EDGE comes out next and addresses his monumental and historic championship match at WrestleMania and how special that moment was, and how he knows that the title puts a huge target on his back and that he has been champion before and he's ready to take on anyone. And out comes Braun Strowman, who also was victorious at WrestleMania after defeating WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Micheals, and he makes it clear to Edge that his focus is all on becoming WWE Champion after being screwed by Shawn Micheals before at the Royal Rumble. Not long after, the also victorious at WrestleMania after beating Murphy, Seth Rollins comes out and makes his case clear that becoming WWE Champion will open the eyes of the WWE Universe and make them embrace the vision.

A video package reveals that next week the WWE Superstar Shakeup will return.

🔺 Randy Orton vs. King Corbin - WrestleMania rematch:

After a long rivalry between Orton and Corbin, where Corbin was trying to grab the attention of Orton, the two heavyweights collide as Randy Orton looks to beat King Corbin again on Raw.

🔺 Bayley, Asuka & Bianca Belair have their eyes set on Sasha Banks' RAW Women's Championship:

After the stellar performance at WrestleMania between Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair, Belair looks to get another shot at the big title but this time Bayley and Asuka ( a former tag team that formed three weeks ago and that faced Nia Jax & Mickie James for the Women's Tag Titles at WrestleMania but was unsuccessful in that match) are creating a roadblock.

🔻 BACKSTAGE: An interview with Braun Strowman who reiterates that he's focused on the world title is shortly interrupted by former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre who reveals that the Main Event will be Drew vs. Strowman vs. Rollins in an N1 Contender Match.

🔺 Bayley vs. Bianca Belair vs. Asuka - Winner Faces Banks At WWE Backlash:

Bianca Belair wins by pinning Bayley, things are heated between Bayley & Asuka.

🔺 Rey Mysterio w/ Dominik Mysterio vs. Robert Roode w/ Dolph Ziggler:

WrestleMania featured a beautiful moment between father and son when The Mysterios defeated Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode to capture the RAW Tag Titles, and Robert Roode looks to get a piece of Rey before their tag titles rematch soon.

Robert Roode defeats Rey Mysterio.

The Riot Squad were meant to be at WrestleMania and challenge Nia & Mickie, Bayley & Asuka for the tag titles but Liv Morgan's minor injury put them on the sidelines.

The Viking Raiders defeat Benjamin & Alexander.

🔺 MAIN EVENT: Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman vs. Seth Rollins - Winner Faces Edge at Backlash.

Drew McIntyre wins after pinning Seth Rollins in a jaw-dropping, high-stakes match to end Raw, & Edge was on commentary.
