THE SHOW:

Superkliq def. Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Christian Cage (falls count anywhere)

a very fast paced exciting match to kick off what looks to be one hell of a show. with back and forth action and some extremely creative moves this one has the full attention of every fan in the arena. in the end the team of adam, matt and nick prevailed as they overwhelmed their opponents. we saw superkicks galore and great highflying ability from a team that genuinely shows so much chemistry at times they look unbeatable. christian cage injured his shoulder as he attempted a spear, matt jackson dodged it and christian ran shoulder first into the steel steps. the young bucks managed to hold luchasaurus down long enough for adam cole to hit the last shot on jungle boy to pick up the win for the superkliq.

# backstage # the elite celebrate together.. and our aew world champion kenny omega confidently claims he will have no problems beating hangman page tonight and walking out of full gear still the aew world champion.

Tay Conti def. Dr. Britt Baker DMD - AEW Women's World Championship

in this title bout we witnessed a great performance from both women, showing us exactly what the aew women's division is all about. tay conti defeated the odds as the underdog to pick up the win over britt baker and become the new aew women's world champion. dr. britt baker didn't exactly take the loss well though, attacking the new champion from behind after the match then applying the lock jaw. luckily for tay conti her friend anna jay rushed out to her aid and britt made her quick escape. as anna jay picked up the championship belt she had a brief moment where she stared at the title as if she was in some sort of trance, but eventually handed it over to her friend and the two hugged it out inside the ring.

Lucha Brothers def. FTR - AEW World Tag Team Championship

ftr really held their own in this match dictating the pace and controlled most of the match in their corner. it wasn't until rey fenix got tagged in things began to change. with his explosive high flying ability he really turned the tables on ftr and it wasn't long before a sequence of tag team moves from the lucha brothers wrapped things up. the lucha bros picked up a hard fought victory tonight and remain your aew world tag team champions and the number one ranked tag team in aew.

CM Punk def. Eddie Kingston

a good old fashioned wrestling match between the self proclaimed best in the world and eddie kingston. it was back and forth action mostly until cm punk turned things around in his favour and he picked up the momentum as the fans chanted his name at the top of their lungs. an elbow drop couldn't do the job.. but punk hit not one but two go to sleeps on kingston to make sure he got the job done. crowd favourite cm punk picks up the victory here tonight and looks impressive in doing so. the question now on everybody's mind is what's next for cm punk in aew?

Bryan Danielson def. Miro - (final of the world title tournament)

the most ruthless match of the night, both men won't be the same after this one. not only did we see a brutal match but these men showed their athleticism and amazing in ring ability. this one stole the show and could be a contender for match of the year. bryan danielson finally managed to do the impossible when he made the machine that is miro tap out!! this amazing performance proves why bryan is one of the best pro wrestlers in the world and earns him a future shot at the aew world championship. you'd have to be a fool to bet against him..

Malakai Black and Andrade El Idolo def. Cody Rhodes and Pac

this was a very interesting matchup with two unique teams with plenty of animosity between eachother. black and andrade really done a number on cody most of the match and it seemed as if cody couldn't handle the beatdown he was receiving, but once cody finally got the opening to tag pac burst into the ring and completely changed the momentum of the match with his explosive offense. pac and andrade went at it for a while showing their impressive wrestling abilities. we saw sequences of moves between the two men that we have never seen before, it looked like these two have scouted eachother well as their offense and defence seemed to be in sync. but in the end it was malakai black who hit cody with the black mass knocking him out and winning his team the match. it seems as if black really has cody rhodes number. after the match cody gains consciousness and sees just how angry pac is, he apologises and extends his hand to pac to shake his hand but pac ignored the gesture and walks off frustrated.

Darby Allin def. MJF

darby truly earned this victory after pulling out all the stops and putting his body on the line with a highlight reel coffin drop. after this exciting match our winner darby allin and his mentor sting walk the ramp in celebration. mjf, left in the middle of the ring after defeat feeling humiliated takes his frustrations out on wardlow shouting abuse and blaming the big man for his loss. wardlow hangs his head in shame knowing that he's let his boss down. mjf takes it a step too far though as he slaps wardlow accross the face, which clearly triggers wardlow as he retaliates with a massive right hook, but he doesn't stop there. wardlow picks up mjf and hits him with an explosive powerbomb throwing mjf over the ropes onto the ramp. members of the pinnacle come out to check on mjf but none stood in the way of wardlow. is this the end of mjf and wardlow's alliance?

The Inner Circle def. Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page and American Top Team - (minneapolis street fight)

wow this one was absolute mayhem! guys where fighting all over the arena, backstage, the car park and chris jericho took the name street fight very literal as he took lambert out to the streets of minneapolis while beating the hell out of the american top team leader. other big moments included jake hager being put through the windshield of a bmw in the car park by former ufc heavyweight champion junior dos santos. santana and ortiz went half the match going to war with scorpio sky and ethan page. but in sensational fashion it was our tnt champion sammy guevara who picked up the win for the inner circle pinning andrei arlovski. but he was quickly chased off the scene from other american top team members jorge masdival and paige vanzant who jumped the barrier unannounced. however, as paige was helping arlovski to his feet masdival ran at him and hit him with a deadly knee to the face. the crowd, genuinely shocked to what they just witnessed couldn't believe their eyes. jorge masdival and paige vanzant have turned their back on the american top team!! but why??

Kenny Omega def. Hangman Page - (AEW World Championship)

Hangman Page competed in the very first match for the aew world championship in a losing effort against chris jericho, now he finally gets his shot at redemption. standing in his way is the current world champion and possibly the best wrestler in the world kenny omega, these men held the aew world tag team titles together for a very long time. the anticipation for this main event is so high and you can see the excitement in the fans eyes as the match begins. both men are give it all they got in a back and forth brawl. the number of nearfalls has the fans off their seats and you can sense the nervousness from the cowboys fans. just as hangman page looks like he's about to pull off the biggest win in his career the young bucks and adam cole come running out to kenny omegas aid, the distraction was enough to allow omega to pull off a quick roll up pin but hangman survived kicking out a fraction of a second before the 3 count. members of the dark order join us ringside to even the odds and a fight kicks off ringside between the dark order and the elite. it's absolute mayhem all over the arena but the two competitors page and omega continue their match inside the ring focused on getting the job done. the referee is distracted by the madness happening outside the ring and a man in a black hood comes up from underneath the ring, and strikes hangman over the head with an umbrella. kenny takes advantage and hits the one winged angel, a move no man has ever kicked out off still to this day, and his former tag team partner hangman is no exception as kenny omega pins him 1, 2, 3 and remains your reigning and defending aew world champion!! as kenny omega and the rest of the elite celebrate in the ring the mysterious man with the black hood returns at the top of the ramp revealing his face.. everyone is in absolute disbelief as it turns out to be the villain marty scurll!! and he just screwed hangman page out of the aew world championship.

THE VILLAIN IS NOW ALL ELITE.
